Monday, 3/16/20 We have now moved to a virtual classroom. Please visit Mr. K’s blog for our daily classwork. Go to wheelerhigh.com, then academics/arts/athletics, then science, then to his blog. You can submit work via text or scan.
Monday, 3/9/20 We are now studying aquatic biomes. We will have an unit test next Tuesday the 17th.
Monday, 3/2/20 We are continuing on our Biomes unit. We will be having a vocabulary quiz covering terrestrial biomes this week.
Monday, 2/24/20 Today we start biomes which are the large naturally occurring communities of flora and fauna occupying a major habitat, e.g. forest or tundra. This unit will last about three weeks.
Monday, 2/10/20 We are still on unit 3 which covers Ecology. Expect our unit test to be this Friday the 14th, our last day before the February break. We will then start on unit 4 which covers Biomes.
Monday, 2/3/20 We are on unit 3 covering Ecology. We will have a Food Web quiz this Thursday. We will have our unit test next week on Wednesday.
Monday, 1/27/20 We are now on unit 2 which covers Ecology. Please work on your vocabulary daily for this unit, it makes a big difference.
Tuesday, 1/21/20 I hope that you had a great three day weekend. We are closing in on the end of Unit 1 which covered our introductory material. The unit test will be this Thursday the 23rd.
Monday, 1/13/20 We are still on our first unit which covers Introduction to Environmental Science. We will have a test at the end of this week covering this material.
Monday, 1/6/2020 Welcome back to another great semester at Wheeler High School! We will get started right away in learning about our environment that is all around us. Wednesday the 8th will be our first notebook check. We will have our first quiz on Introduction to Environmental Science on Friday the 10th.
